About Multimedia Victoria

Multimedia Victoria (MMV) works to grow the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, and drive economic growth through access to and use of sophisticated ICT.
Part of the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development, Multimedia Victoria also works closely with the ICT industry, education and training providers and the wider business community.
Multimedia Victoria's core responsibilities include:

- growing the information and communications technology (ICT) industry in Victoria
|
- attracting new ICT investments to Victoria
|
- working with education and training providers and industry to build the state's ICT skills base
|
- establishing a regulatory framework that provides certainty and confidence for the use of new technologies
|
- implementing a strategic approach to broadband telecommunications, as outlined in the Government's Policy Broadband Framework - Pathway to the Future.
