Cloud Insights With US Cloud Expert and former US White House CIO, Vivek Kundra

Vivek Kundra spearheaded the ‘Cloud First’ policy sign off by US Government – and then implemented it. In his role as White House CIO, Vivek Kundra had oversight of the organisation’s US $80B budget. Vivek’s visit to Australia was co-announced by the Prime Minister and the US President when Barack Obama visited Australia in 2011.

Keynote speaker, former USA White House CIO and author of the USA Government’s ‘Cloud First’ Policy and now Executive Vice President of Salesforce.com, Vivek Kundra is well known for his visionary approach to the benefits Cloud can deliver for governments and business alike. In this exclusive industry event, Vivek Kundra will explore the privacy, security, commercial, contractual, regulatory, cost, risk and internal governance factors that you should be aware of when considering working with Cloud. He will also lead the debate on the facts and evidence surrounding cloud benefits and risks and will draw parallels between the application of cloud services in the financial services sector and the public sector.

Masterclass for Growth 2012

Following an incredibly successful first year of the MasterClass for Growth program, Small Business Victoria is pleased to announce that applications for the 2012 program are now open. But don’t delay, as places are filling up.
The program is designed for small to medium businesses that are:

  • wanting to grow but can't find the time
  • looking for new ways to develop ideas
  • ready to take business to the next level

Costing just $950, the MasterClass for Growth program will help businesses to understand, prepare and implement plans to fast-track growth. Participants attend four masterclasses and tailored coaching sessions over eight months, commencing in March 2012.
