| Victorian ICT and life science companies seeking opportunities in the lucrative US market can access support from this pilot program. The Victorian Government has paid for a hot-desk within the Melbourne Australia Pavilion for the use of Victorian companies. |

| Film Victoria offers assistance to digital media practitioners across two main areas. | Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) |
| The EMDG scheme is a key Australian Government financial assistance program for aspiring and current exporters. Administered by Austrade, the scheme supports a wide range of industry sectors and products, including inbound tourism and the export of intellectual property and know-how outside Australia. |

| Commercialisation Australia is an Australian Government initiative that assists researchers, entrepreneurs and innovative companies to convert intellectual property into successful commercial ventures. |

| Research and Development Tax Concession |
| The R&D Tax Concession was replaced on 1 July 2011 by the R&D Tax Incentive. Research and development activities and expenditure in income years prior to 1 July 2011 should be registered and claimed under the R&D Tax Concession. The R&D Tax Concession is a broad-based, market driven tax concession which allows companies to deduct up to 125% of qualifying expenditure incurred on R&D activities when lodging their corporate tax return. A 175% Incremental (Premium) Tax Concession and R&D tax offset are also available in certain circumstances. |
