Spend and Demand Reports

The Victorian Government has commissioned a series of reports into telecommunications spend and demand across Victoria. The reports include a major whole of state analysis and six regional reports.

The reports are based on information gathered in November/December 2006.

Spend and demand reports can be found on the Publications page.

Economic and Regional Benefits

Communities with broadband will reap economic benefits. While the potential impact of broadband on entertainment and Internet access rates is obvious, the economic rewards are less clear. The Victorian Government has commissioned research into the economic impact of broadband in order to quantify these benefits. The report, released in June 2004, makes a compelling case for proactively seeking broadband.
