Melbourne-based Revolution IT has been ranked #43 on the BRW Best Companies to Work For 2009 in Australia list and #9 on the list of IT companies.

BRW magazine today released a list of the 50 best places of employment, based on research undertaken by the Great Places to Work Institute. The research investigated a range of large and small local and international companies across a range of industries.

The only software testing consultancy to feature in the top 50, Revolution IT has experienced rapid ongoing growth thanks to their highly regarded software testing and application quality management solutions.

Starting out in Melbourne in 2004, Revolution IT has expanded across Australia, with offices now in Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra and now employs more than 180 staff.

Michelle Cooper, Revolution IT’s National Human Resources and Recruitment Manager, said that the award recognises the company’s commitment to offering regular opportunities for career development and training, with a focus on a healthy work life balance.

She said that Revolution IT encourages sensible work hours and host regular fun and interactive staff social events.

Revolution IT instilled some fun into the work day recently by filming and producing a music video clip starring staff throughout Revolution IT’s National offices.

Any organisations (private, public, and not-for-profit sectors) in Australia with a minimum of 20 full- and part-time employees that are at least three years old can qualify for the best places to work list.
