Telecommunications Spend and Demand Report in Victoria

Released June 2010

To continue its important role in information provision, the Victorian Government has commissioned Access Economics to provide a new series of Spend Demand reports to look at activity in the Victorian telecommunications market.

The new reports will examine the emergence of higher speed broadband services and the growth in mobile broadband. It will also track consumers’ appetite for increasingly greater bandwidth and the emerging trend for consumers to subscribe to on both fixed and mobile broadband services.

This report benchmarks our telecommunications market so subsequent reports can track the progress of the NBN and the broader market.
