Victorian Women in ICT Network
|
The Victorian Women in ICT Network was launched by the Minister for ICT, Marsha Thomson, on 12 July 2005.
The Network will help to boost a shortage of women in the ICT industry through the development of practical programs designed to attract and retain women in the field.
Supported by $82,000 of Government funding, the Victorian Women in ICT Network is spear-headed by a high-powered group of representatives from the government, corporate and education sector.
The Network will be a critical link between government, business, the education sector and other industry associations to collaborate on, and influence the direction of ICT in Victoria.
