The Broadband-Enabled Innovation Program (BEIP) promotes the effective use of broadband lead adoption and innovative information and communication technology (ICT).

BEIP is a new grant program that funds innovative projects to develop new ways of working and improving service delivery in business, government and the community through the use of high-capacity broadband.

BEIP aims to:

  • Assist collaborations between Victoria’s sectors including ICT, government, community and industry
  • Encourage Victorians to develop and pilot applications and services ready for use on high-capacity broadband
  • Harness high-capacity broadband networks to achieve economic, social and environmental benefits.

How does the program work?

The program will have a two-stage competitive selection process:

Stage 1:
Applicants must submit a short Expression of Interest application form outlining their project idea.

Stage 2:
If shortlisted, applicants will then be supported to produce a detailed business plan for their project.
